Prof. Dr. K. Chandrasekhar Reddy — a builder of excellence in every sense — with over 32 years of combined academic and industry experience brings to the role of Principal, and something rare in academic leadership: the mind of a researcher, the hands of a practitioner, and the heart of a mentor. His academic journey, rooted in the engineering traditions of S.V. University and the National Institute of Engineering, Mysore, and culminating in a Ph.D. from S.V University, Tirupati, is the story of a professional who has never stopped building — structures, students, or institutions.
A prolific researcher with over 100 publications in SCIE, Scopus, and WOS indexed journals, five patents, and a published textbook to his credit, Dr. Reddy has equally invested in people — guiding over 50 M.Tech. scholars and doctoral researchers through the demands of original research. His prior 15 years of experience as a Principal and as a NAAC assessor gives him a seasoned understanding of what it takes to lead an institution toward academic and research excellence.
A Senior Member of IEEE, a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers (India), and recipient of the ISTE National level best Principal Award and JNTUA University best Principal Award, Dr. Reddy arrives at S.V. College of Engineering with a clear sense of purpose — to ensure that every student who walks through these doors leaves equipped not just with a degree, but with the capability to make a lasting mark on the world.
To be a centre of excellence focusing on high quality technical education, research and technical services with global leadership competence to succeed in employment and higher education with ethical, social, entrepreneurial aspects updating to the real time requirements.
